Ok, well in September I bought a new battery for the Blazer, a 650 CCA Napa, and it was ok until it got cold out, then it seemed that any night it was under 20 out, it would get through about 3 or 4 revolutions before it lost too much oomph. If I would put it on the charger overnight, it would be fine, it would even start it in -10. But recently even being on the charger overnight would make no difference.

If I put it on the 6 amp setting, instead of the 2 amp trickle, it does seem to help a tiny bit.

Has the battery been killed by the charger? or is that 650 just not enough?
(the 650 was the biggest side post battery I could find)

The rapid chargers can reduce battery life because they can build up more heat, but it sounds like the battery is past the point of return and even with a higher amp shot of juice it can't hold the charge. 650 CCA is plenty. That rating denotes amperage the battery can supply at 0 degrees for 30 seconds, so at any temperature above that, you'll have more amperage.

It could be the battery is just defective. It also may have a broken plate internally. Check for the obvious like corrosion around the terminals which can sap a charge, bad grounds, or a short or draw in the system. The saying goes that for a standard battery (not a deep cycle) that every time its charge is depleted, that it cuts its life by half. If its only 5 months old, take it back, the warranty will still be in effect. Check out your electrical system and your charger before hooking up the new battery. If you drive regularly, you shouldn't have to have it hooked up at all. If it is still dying, the problem is the truck.

Bad battery. We had some at work that were Napa. 2 died at 6 months. Would not crank when under freezing out. Take it back.

Ok, well I put it on the 12 volt, 6 amp setting, and let it go for about 3 hours, and it manage to start the truck, so after that I putted around town and let it idle for a combined hour or so.

I'll see if it still has enough power to start it tomorrow, it only supposed to get down to about 25 tonight, so we'll see what happens.
