i just did a 52" front spring swap on my '79 silverado 10 and have a
question about how the write-up said to do it. in the write-up it says that
the front uper shackle hanger has to be moved to corect shackle angle. i
have not moved the shackle mount and my shackle angle looks to be about the same as in the pictures posted in the write-up. i am running shackles similar to ORD's and made a custom front hanger / body mount. i cant really understand why the shackle hanger needs to be moved. can someone clarify please?

. that does make sence, did not even think of that, the way in the writeup moves it farther forward. i was wanting to keep the axle in the stock location so i only moved it the difference of the springs, ~2 inches. and now i feel like an idiot
