it seems that everyone uses ford shock mounts. are you still using the factory mounts on the axle? will the scocks bind on compression because of the different angle of the mounts? i'm having trouble picturing it in my head.

I'm runing the superduty towers and the bushing angle isn't ideal but it doesn't seem to be binding or affecting flex at all

My shocks seem to bind up just a bit on compression, but nothing severe. As far as the holes for the towers, I just positioned the top shock mount in the middle of my 14" shocks travel and it turned out nearly perfect. Overall, it's worked great for me but I still need to tweak my lower shock mounts a little bit.

I have the stamped ones. Set them up for 5" of uptravel and 10" of droop. Work good. I cut the mounts off the D60 and just welded on some tabs.

when I got my d60 it did have shock mounts on it. The tabs are just welded where the stock ones were on the side of the axle but they sit closer to the tube.
