52" vs stock length front leafs! Help!!

well.. um I thought about putting those springs on back in the day... dang cant believe someone pulled it off..
Here is my 2 cents.. since the work is already done leave them in there. Grab some leaf.. any thing with more than 2 at the junkyard will help, the 2500s came with 4-5 leafs in the pack and are decently stiff.
Add those to the spring pack you have now. that will help a ton with body roll. Buy some spring clamps to install will also help.

Question for you guys. my search for leafs hasnt been successful, im gonna end up ordering the DIY parts to do a proper 52" swap. ive been trolling craigslist and pick a parts over the past week and havent really found anything. Ideally what trucks should i be looking for to get some decent springs??

What 52's work best kinda depends on what your truck has for equipment or what it will have for equip. if you are in the midst of upgrades. Most small block trucks with standard bumpers, I like the 52's from mid 80's blazers. When we start talking big blocks and heavy offroad bumpers, then I start looking for heavier springs. Heavy 1/2 ton with a tow package or the like.

4+1 leafs in the blazer pack or 5+1 for the heavier versions.

Gotcha this was exactly what I was looking for! Also, looking at the b52s in the website. It has an option for different shackle length options. Any suggestions on that?

I always recommend the 6" shackle. Longer is unnecessary in most cases and can cause problems. I've been meaning to remove the 7.25" option but haven't gotten it done yet.

Appreciate that!! Let me know if you need any more help.
