Going to be looking for a set for the front of my rig, as my 52's from the rear of my rig disintegrated as soon as I took the center pin out. I've heard some business about Dodge springs being close to 52 inches but having an offset pin and was wondering if there were any other 51/52/53 inch springs that I could look for. I already have spent money on DIY4X's B52 kit and am already over budget, so coilovers (while being the correct answer) aren't an option. I had to resort to putting in a set of Rough (Sancho @bent72 ) Country 6 inch front springs as a temporary solution but they ride as well as a floorjack going down the driveway so any good cheap options would be appreciated.

I like 56" springs, they tend to have a better spring rate for use up front and rhe longer length really helps in the travel , I limited my white burb at 16" of travel with 4" lift 56" it could have done more but thats the length of my shocks.

One problem I and others have had is litterally driving over the top of the springs. What I mean buy that is when the suspesion is in full droop and the tire is in a hole and basically immovable the truck will push over the spring , bending the main leaf .

My current springs are military wrapped and have not succumed to this ......yet

I agree with @bent72, the 48's aren't that bad if your on a budget. Otherwise look around for some GM 52's.

I rocked the piss out of 47s on my blazer.

I have 52s now. It definitely brings other issues like handling, driveshaft/droop issues. All can be dealt with though. Ill probably end up using some limit straps and a square driveshaft with 1410s/flanges.
