54" boggers in action!! MUD VID added!!!!

yeah I got one from jeremy, cool vid. also they said over on pirate that they ran it a lot harder than whats on the video posted in this thread. I just hope that all the changes dont come back to bite em in competition. it was tried and true before, then they changed it to make it better but did not have much shakedown time.

Cab's going to go bye bye in trap if he makes it that far. Taller it is, the more body gets shoved into the wall.

I find it funny how everone on pirate says lower it or the body will get mangled in the tank trap. I dont understand, Lower it to hack up the fenders and taper the front and rear? Either way the body gets mangled. I say jack it up more!

Anyone know what lift he was running before?

it really doesnt matter, the body is going to get mangled anyway, no matter what they do to the truck.

I wish TTC was open for the public. I'd pay a few bones to see that. Seeing as I live just a few miles away. The cam seems a little big for the slow moving stuff. But I would love to see it hit a couple junk cars, maybe a Yota, and hit the mud hole and tank trap.

I find it funny that you say that without knowing anything about tank trap. Tank traps canyon section leans you over 45* into the wall. The taller you are, the more cab you rip off. It's slightly worse than just cutting fenders, more like ripping the entire body off and holding you in place impeding forward progress and ultimate victory. If you don't finish trap, you don't win ttc. If he wants to do well in things other than the mud pit it should have been lowered. But I don't care, he'll just make the canyon harder when he spins his 54's for an hour and makes it more fun for me :)

any online video on tank trap?I have no idea what u are talking about,so a vid or some pic´s would clear things up a bit.BEFORE I make a stupid remark/comment:D

Come on make the comment anyway. Its not like you have to look anyone in the face when you say it!

ok:D what I was thinking was, this particular truck has a very wide trackwidth, the tires stick out alot compared to the usual d60/14 bolt combo,so the wide trackwidth would help keep the body away from the wall.but,it might not be enough,as I said,I don´t know anything about tank trap.

yeah, well, thats just like...your opinion man. I cant wait to see the carnage.

What is opinion about it? I've ran trap plenty of times and it's just fact that the taller the rig, the more the body gets pressed into the wall... There is a ledge that sticks out about a foot right above the roofline of most average height crawlers that go through there, thats going to be right into the a-pillar of this truck...

I don't have any pics but I have video:

EDIT: Heres a pic from four wheeler from 05 ttc, this guy made it half way through the canyon and had to be pulled out:

I stand corrected, but to me it looks like everyone has trouble with the trap. Maybe this guy bounces the right way grabs traction and pops out. Who knows. That exo rig seems to look pretty slick. Where is that trail neway

The exo'd rig is my rig.

It's in Hollister, CA at the Hollister Hills OHV park. It's an awesome place but gets old after the 50th or 60th trip. Good thing is that the trap changes almost monthly due to how much water flows through it.

No, more like: Yay 4 wheeler!. After seeing the water they put in trap this last year, I was happy as a clam to have not been in it... When a competitor has to take off their seatbelt so there head can stay above water, it's a little rediculous... I'm happy to have a functioning drivetrain and radio still
