Hi
I want to go with 56" rear but i already have 63" spring laid down in my garage.
can someone tell me is ther a big difference between them offroad and onroad driving?
If i will go with the 63" i probably take the axle forward for about 1.5" with "zero rate" from ord.

thanks

basic physics, longer spring = more flex = softer ride = more body roll in corners on road. but who cares about on road manners :D

It depends:

Low (3" or less) Lift: both will ride about the same, maybe the 63's will be a little softer (nicer) ride

High Lift: go with the 63's, more radius = softer ride

Also, there are 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton, 2wd and 4wd differences
1/2 ton 2wd 63's (like 3 leaf pack) are really soft and ride really nice, whereas a 1 ton pack is gonna ride like %*(# no matter what size

The 63" are from 1992 GMC sierra 2500 4wd ,i think it is a 6 leaf pack.
They look stiffer then the 56".

64's will flex better than 56's. you are going to need to move both of the spring hangers if you want to keep the axle close to the stock location, wehre as you will only need to move the rear to keep the axle in stock location with the 56's.
