So things are really starting to get moving on my truck, I plan on being on 1 tons in 2 months with hydro assists and more bells and whistles. Right now I want to keep moving in the direction, but keep my DD/WW wheelable/driveable.

First item is rear leafs, I made my own shackle flip but the amount it hangs down is ridiculous I had to make it low for my flat springs. Since I'm replacing them and the flip with a DIY4X and newer springs I've hit a crossroad. I see people with 64s and see they flex amazing, but I'm thinking I'll need a track bar(I'd be adding either way, but would be needed for 64s) I'll need to move the front mount, and this truck will still be a DD and I do wanna keep it somewhat controled on the road. Right now I'm thinking a better shackleflip, with 56s, a zero rate and I can make shackles for it.

Second is the front end can I use my flat 52s up front and still get about 4-5 inches of lift? Cross over is next on my list. Right now I have a 14 bolt ready to be regeared and go. I do have 8 lug outters for the front. Should I hold off on crossover until I get a dana 60? or will a 10 bolt hold me for awhile with 37" h1 take offs. The way I'm thinking is investing in a regear and knuckle I might aswell look at dana 60s. But if a 10 bolt will hold I could probably go with it and swap it out later. What does everyone think?

Well I was in the same boat last year was about to do a 14bff. Swap and then my bearings went out in front diff so I swapped to a d60 my 10b held up great with 35's and I beat on it but I was mostly in mud. I would wait on crossover because your wasting money on stuff you can't use on the d60

It's my understanding that you have to do the x over if your doing the 52's in the front. So you must do both at the same time, or x over first.
