57\" rear spring Q\'s

I am giving it great consideration to doing the 57" spring conversion! I have 6" lift as now with stock 52's, echobit flip and a lowering shackle on a 12 bolt. Do I need a pair of 2" lift 57" springs to get the same amount of lift with 14 BFF?

stock 52's will be close tot he stock 57's for ride heigth. i actually got some lift out of the 57's but I don't count.

yes I'm at the same heigth as I was with the stock 52's.

You can build the springs however you want. I got 4 inches out of mine.

BTW, something not mentioned frequently, but you might want to run them backwards, for an extra 4" of wheelbase!

Also, get a spring clamp from autozone, or you will warp them faster.

willy, so going to 57' he will lose lift and return to stock heigth? im curious too. Im really curious what 63's would do in the front /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

he is runninga flip so he won't loose any heigth, he will actually gave lift since he'll need a longer shackle to accomidate(sp?) the springs. also 63's will not fit up front. unless you have a huge dock for a bumper to hide them under and don't mind hitting eveything you try to get over.

So will the longer shackle now be like this \ ? How will taht work with axle wrap and ride quality?
