Wanted 6.2/454 Engine Mount to Frame Brackets

Did you measure the height of the bracket by chance to verify the K30 bracket would fit on a k20/k10/k5 frame?

and I just realized something on my k10/454 truck. I'll post a pic in a minute that supports your theory.

As I mentioned earlier, I removed the BBC from my K10 for a frame swap. Well check out the added holes in this mount.....

note the bottom hole, is the clamshell also different (taller) for the BBC? Since I bought DIY4x's competition mounts it makes me wonder how those are going to lineup since they're designed to work with the sbc and bbc.

The GM part #'s are different, but I have never compared the 2 side by side. I also have the ORD engine mounts waiting to be put on for my project. I never really thought about them being different because I knew that the pedestals were different. I hope they work out as planned!! By the way, yes they are the same as far as fitting into the frame. Both measured out at the same height.

I'll probably drop the engine in, mark and drill the 1/2 ton pedestals I just blasted and painted.
