6.2 oil pans

Do ours have that "triangle" sorta angle to them?

Im gonna be going out and working on the cucv later Ill take a look, pretty sure its the more standard looking oil pan like would be on the sbc's or bbc's, but from what I remember there is nothing in the way of that 'triangle' going forward. Ill triple check it a little later though.

I am 99% sure than these pans would fit the c/k body's. Only possible problem would be if you have a D60 and no lift it would be close with some flex. I would say these would net an increase in capacity too, but not certain as I cant find specs on H1 oil capacitys. After cleaning up the garage, I have 3 of these. Like said would like to get $50ea + the ride.

Edit: realized I never said it, but they are brand new.

I'll have to stick my head under mine and see what the clearance looks like. Bone stock suspension on mine.

Which side is the dipstick tube on?

drivers side dipstick. Front crossmember clearance isnt an issue. I havent got the lift on the front of my cucv (waiting on bushings to show up) and it would physically clear but it may contact under flex. However I removed my pinion snubber bumpstop so that may actually stop it before it would contact this pan.

Do you know if these are for the 2 piece rear mains or 1 piece?

They are not the same. If you have a part number or what they originally came from it would be helpful, I replied in your other thread about shipping costs but just thought of this.

I have one like for a once piece rear main on my 85 currently. I have a Dana 60 and 6 inch lift with no clearance issues. I was able to re-use my oil tube and dipstick without modification. The only issue with my pan is that The previous motor threw a rod out the side of the pan and My welding job is seeping a little oil.
