Did some looking at this p400 and it looks pretty stout. Now is 5 to 6 grand just for the long block? Where can you order them from?

Did some reading and seems like 01 to ? are the optimizer and the current is the p400 optimizer
This guy seems to have a good reputation on the diesel place for take out gov. optimizers.

For that, I picked up most of a 6.5 setup.

For the 6.5T to fit, you either have to ditch the A/C, or mod the factory one and combine it with one from an S10/15.

Changing plans, a buddy of mine has an 01 24 valve with only 150k on it and he has the cross member too, he wants 2000.00. I've spent the past couple hours researching and I have a mild understanding of what's needed to do the swap. I know I want to do the p pump and ditch the wiring. Not sure of what tranny I want to go with but I know I want to stay automatic. What the hell if I'm gonna dive into this couldn't I through an allison in it? Maybe a 4l80E?

I'd love some tips on this. Especially on what other parts are needed, what needs to be cut out modified ect ect.
