Looks like a handful
I actually was wondering if you recognized it. Picked it up in Severance.
2400 lbs with me in it.
350 built by Tom Frantz https://coloradomotorsportshalloffame.com/tom-frantz/
435hp at the wheels, 0-60 2.9 seconds, high 11s qtr mile at altitude.
700r4
Narrowed 8.5 10 bolt with Moser axles, 4.10s, coilovers
13" disc up front with custom built upper and lower control arms
11.5" disc in back
It just hooks up and goes, launches hard and straight.
For a lightweight car it rides great. I would not be afraid to drive it cross country right now if it had a heater.

That is bad ass! Nice purchase.
If I can get this jacked up or on a lift I will try to get some info off of the coilovers for you. Should be pretty close to what you need for Death Trap. We need to go for a ride sometime, you will be amazed how nice this thing rides.

Looks familiar. But I’m old :haha:

Pretty much what I was shopping for when I found this. I was trying to find a Sunbeam Tiger or an "americanized" Jensen Healey, Austin Healey or Dellow.

My best friend dad when I was 17 or so had a Austin Healy 3000 with a hot 289 Ford.
That was fun to ride in!

Cool ride for sure, you'd think with those numbers it'd run middle 10's though?

Maybe, it was an older guy I got it from and he told me he felt it had more in it then he was willing to push for. Also this is Colo, we gots no oxygen so sea level would be better #s.

I get the elevation thing, but it should still run 10's. At sea level, if the power numbers are accurate it should be running 10.30's all day. Definitely has enough tire...

High 11's doesn't jive with the rest of the specs.

This is sea level.

I have always been under the impression @ altitude is about 1 second slower. @Bent77 your thoughts?

You do the math.

I put in 11.5 times 6000 ft conversion and came up with 10.3675 at sea level.

All I know is when I took my POS I drove in high school that wouldn't hardly chirp the tires at 7,000 feet down to sea level it could light the tires very well. Dad was driving it, waved at a cop he knew, of course the cop didn't recognize him in my car, light turned green he lit the tires and he got to have a little chat with the officer. 74 Chevelle Laguna S-3 400sbc/400 turbo trans, couldn't tell you gears but not low for those that must know. Poor thing was beaten to death, when the body and suspension gave up, I bought my first blazer and did some swapping.
