6 cyl K5 Blazers rare?

I had to go and double check, because I thought the tachometer was not available with the six cylinder. I doubt you grabbed a picture of the SPID, and saved it for some dork on the internet……

Wonder if it was swapped in?

Nope didn’t even think about checking the spid back then. I do know the tach had to be for a 6 though. I took the separate harness for the tach when I took the whole cluster. Tried it out plugging into my 350 hei on my old ‘75 k5. Tach did not read accurately on the v8. I could have swore somewhere read there was a 6 cyl tach version. It’s been easily 15 years since I found it. Ended up selling the whole cluster to some dude on expo portal for his ‘78 suburban project. Told him he’d have to make some adjustments to make the tach read right. But he was stuffing an 8.1 in so it was going to need adjusting with the tach anyway to work.

292 step vans are actually really common. UPS used thousands of them.

Another one with a 6. 1980

I’ve never seen one ordered like that. Almost every option other than an engine!

It’s a shame that whomever repainted it, didn’t put the stripes back on the hood.
