6 Grand for THIS Blazer?????????????????

especially on the add he said the a/c does not blow cold and it needs a little work.

in is worth 10k then, with the dash installed/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

those first gen guys are usually proud of their curvy sheet metal, but man, where's the line?

It's just supply and demand. There's not a lot of decent first gens left. If you check Trucks for sale on the board, there are very few. Even the first gen board is only a bit over 10000 messages. Heck the garage will be there in a couple of weeks.
I'm not defending the price...but I understand it.

I Know decent trucks are harder to come by up here in MN. If that blazer is as nice as it appears to be I would have gladly paid that much back when I was in the market, maybe even still now.

He'll probably get it, the truck does seem to need some minor work and a little work on the paint, but the interior seems to be good, probably worth at least 5k, the first gens are expensive in good condition.

Man. I lucked out. I paid half that for mine in PA and all I added to it was seat covers and shocks. How could I forget the dixie horn.

I had a 72 K/5 body in mint condition ( except I didn't like the color "puke green") 454, 4-speed, 14 bolt FF and a Dana 60 with 410 gears. I bought that truck in the spring of 2000 for $1,800.00 . Wish I would have known what it was worth, I traded it for a 86 Riveara a year later.

yeah around these parts 1st gens are almost non-existant. I'm not a big enough fan of them to own one, but I would love a 2wd BBC truck like that style
