6 inch lift and a dana 60

Ive decided to go crossover so my next mission will be finding the 1 ton steering box (any imparticular year?) which im geussing is the easiest way to do it. what is WFO and do they have an internet site. Whos got the best deal on the crossover setup

You do not need a 1 ton steering box. You need the sector shaft from a 2wd chevy truck or a 2wd steering box from a 1981 or later chevy truck. There is no difference between the steering boxes on 1/2, 3/4 or 1-ton chevy trucks in our year ranges other than the fitting change in 1980.

If your box is shot I would go get a remaned box from your local parts house for a 2wd truck the same year as yours and give them your old box as a core since they wont know the difference anyhow.
