6 inch tuff country lift getting pulled out tomorrow need new ideas

Kauzen': Get (PM) bhays here on CK5. He has probably the nicest K5 that I have seen on this board. Brian has some unbelievable fab skills. Ask him of rpics of his 64's in the rear and his coil setup in the front. I think he did about 95%+ of the fab himself. You could look at his truck for hours just staring at it. He might be able to give you some good ideas.

That sucks. Did you talk to Stephen? I would leave a message for him to call you back on the issue.

On a side note I am in Fallon for the next three weeks. I should have some free time to take a look at what you got. Maybe go for a ride so I can see how rough it is. I have a Superlift HD 6" kit on my crew and its pretty stiff, but they are HD springs for a 1 ton. :wink1:
no longer an option sent the tc kit back a month ago. poor blazer just been sitting. just waiting on a reply about my springs from ord. there really screwin up my chukar huntin season poor cts-v wont go offroad well.

Since you just said you have a CTS-V I no longer feel sorry for your order problems. Those CTS-V's are badass. My favorite Caddy next to the early '60 Eldo convertibles.:D

It really does suck about the order though.

yea i called em they said springs should be done this week but i wont get them till next. another week no blazer i guess its ok because i ordered my 4l80e stuff today that'll give me this week to get it built and then installed this weekend. but just like everything else i prolly get bent over and my trans controller will show up in 13 years

4th attempt at reply :doah:all previous books are lost so you get the clif notes.

bolt the fronts in and bumpstop them to only have 6.5" of uptravel.

rears
1: figure out where you want the axle at full stuff
2: measure forward from that point 32". This is where the main eye will mount
3: from the main eye measure back 62" and put the frame end of the shackle there.

thanks for the info my only problem is that the body mount is going to interfere with the front spring hanger. anyone concuered this obsticle yet when doing 64's on a newer blazer?

holly sh!t my springs shipped today. and for less money than i originaly expected.

Spoke 2 soon and somebody called an audible. Springs didn't make it on the truck, wish I could say I was supprised. I can only say that the quality better make up for the 30+ day wait.
i have to note that ord did not supply the springs and they were not the ones responsible for getting them shipped they only supplied the specs to an outside company.

have kirt or someone make you a special bracket set to do both. kind of like a b52 kit that he sells.

got the front springs, swaybar disconnects, greaseable bushings and hd shackles in today and all i got to say is fukn nice. right out of the box these things are soft cant wait to hit the trail.
