Dont care what gears it has in it. 3.42s would be best but it doesnt really matter since I have a set of 4.56s for it already.

Thanks,
James

would you pay to have it shipped? i know where there a few at. i have no idea how to ship something that large.

Shipping something like that isnt too much of a problem, www dot ushipit dot com is kind of like ebay for parts shipping. You can set a target price and individuals will bid on your order.

Do you know what they came out of and what gears they have? And of course, how much?

those axles came in 88-98 chevy and gmc trucks. heavy 1/2 ton or light 3/4 ton. i know where there are at least 4. i do not know the gear ratio's, but i can find out. how does 400 + shipping sound.

I actually meant were they off a 4wd or a 2wd because I seem to remember something about the width being different.

I have heard of one closer (still in FL) for cheaper and of course shipping would be less. I'll let you know if that falls through.

pretty sure the width would the same, but if they are 2wd they won't be 6 -lug. the ones i know of are all 4wd.

The 2wd 14sf is also 6 lug except for the ones in the 454ss.

Edit: I guess they are the same width, just the spring perches would have to be moved for the 2wd version.

i can't recall if i have seen a 2wd 6-lug in that year range. just make sure you get pics.

I have pulled one from a 2wd myself. A buddy of mine was holding it for me and I was going to have it shipped to me. Now he isnt answering my messages.
