I've been reading this board for quite a while and never heard of such a thing, but I have a line on a rig which the guy claims has a D60 w/Spindles, stubs, and hubs changed to 6lug D44 stuff. He claims 32 spline axles. It's quite a haul to look at the thing, and I'm really only interested if it's a D60. Could this be a D60, or is the guy confused? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Advice appreciated...

He is really, really, REALLY confused.
There's no way to adapt D44 knuckle out parts to a D60. There are 6 lug conversion bearing hubs for a D60 but this is a very expensive and rarely done modification.

didn't Dodge for a while make some D44's that people were confusing w/ 60's because they had the 3 ubolt setup... but upon a little closer inspection there were no kingpins!!!??? I think these were pretty few and far between, but out there. But if it was a Dodge one it would have the 8 lug or Dodge 5 on Small bolt pattern instead of 6 lugs.
