Im going to be swapping my dana 44 to 8 lug soon and wondering what can be reused and what needs to be swapped out, i know my spindles on each side are two different sizes, can my calipers still be reused/ backing plates?

Also im in the process of swapping my 14 bolt to disks and wondering whats the shortest brake hose is to convert my lines for the 3/4 ton front caliper? also do i need new top plate for my u bolts to bolt onto?

Right now im swapping my rear out for a 14 bolt still gotta find 4.56 gears for it and a locker, build my shackel flip, get some ubolts made, clean up my 14 bolt and paint it, swap my front out to 8 lug, replace my front suspention bushings (hopefully i ordered the right ones from summit), and hopefully my pinion has a good angle. I plan on having all this done within the next two weeks! Being laid off gives me a lot more time to work on my rig and spend time with the gf.

Thanks guys

This topic gets hashed out about once per week so there is lots of threads discussing this.

This is a good thread:

Or type in a phrase like "8 lug hub swap" (do you have access to the search feature?). You will have to wade through some non-related threads but should be able to find enough reading to keep you busy for days.
