Having a nice shop is one of the best things ever!

Good infoI like it. I'm jealous.
That propane tank... you may want to move it. If it ever blows the relief valve or has a leak... propane settles. So it's going to fill your walkout basement area.

We are putting one in my bosses shop, wondering if there is much or any smell to it running?I run a waste oil heater. There is some maintenance to them. And they are loud. Blower, nozzle atomizing the oil, nozzle blower for the chamber flame and the compressor occasionally. I get my oil 200 gallons at a time from a trucking company.
I also have a 2 barrel wood fired heater next to it. I run both occasionally.
It is a block building with a well insulated ceiling.
I had that idea, but have heard from multiple people that they aren’t very efficient and the maintenance isn’t worth it. Is that true?
Not if it is running correctly and the seals are good. Is it a manufactured or home brew unit?We are putting one in my bosses shop, wondering if there is much or any smell to it running?
It also has floor heat and a Natural gas Resnor heater already.
Manufactured, but I don’t know what brand, it hasn’t showed up yet.At the end of the cold season, I pull it apart and clean everything. 3 hours of time. 6 hours per gallon of oil. Thermostat controlled. Mine can be ducted, but I did not. It needs a separate settling tank for the dirt to drop out. I have a pump that goes on top of the settling tank. The PVC suction line does not get to the bottom, so the crap is not transferred into the feed tank. Flame needs adjusted occasionally. Super easy.
Mine is a Lanair MXD200. Bought it used 6 years ago.

That is good. The home brew are the leaky, stinky units.Manufactured, but I don’t know what brand, it hasn’t showed up yet.
