i had to move my rear front mount forward and the back mount back and thats how i fit them but i dont know how you just did one of those things and fit them. either way glad to help
You could do a spring under and lose 5 inches of lift and have no axle wrap problems. I have seen some nice spring plates that tuck the u bolt nuts up the sides of the spring so you don't loose much ground clearance..
Keeping the arch will provide more travel as the spring will up travel more because it will not negative arc as soon down travel will also not be affected much. The pre runners are set up this way. It might be cheaper and easier than buying new springs and a anti wrap bar set up.
It's not non-existent, but it does help to lessen the effects somewhat. The centerline of the axle being inside the curve of the spring is what helps it out. There's not as much leverage being exerted that way.
Think of it like a see-saw, you can move a lot faster with less effort at the end of the board than closer to the pivot. It takes more effort to move the same speed & distance, the closer you are to the pivot.
