64 Vette….Rebuild 2.0

ha ha, sweet. Did you see the new commercial where they say they have to tune the power back in the ZR1 to compete with them, just to be fair...? it's a good one.

Your vette is friggin awesome Dave.

Got the Vette out for the last ride yesterday, changed the oil, and tucked it away for winter in the storage bay of the shop. Sleep tight, see ya in the spring!

While I was at the SEMA show in Vegas, I picked up one of these:

Off topic. Dave, My father just picked up 5 stock wheels for his 65. $200.00 each! Thanks for tryin to get him some!:waytogo:

sounds great Jeff...glad he found some.

going to try and make Detroit, but have conflicting events on that opening day, Sat.
I will def hit the tour from Det. somewhere on I-96 between GR and Lansing probably, then peel off @ I-94 on Mon. when they leave Muskegon and head south.

Cool. I always wanted to do the Power Tour. Every time it's ever been close I've been busy or elsewhere.

Come on dave besides bike week the power tour will be the only cool thing happening in muskegon! Bring it up here for the day! Power tours the coolest thing ive seen hit this town lol and ur vette would make it that much cooler! Ill even vaccuum your parking space for ya:whistle::haha:

I can't see the link, when is it?
It starts on Sat. the 2nd of June in Detroit, heads to Muskegon on Sunday, and towards Champaign, ILL on Monday.

:haha::haha::haha:Thats awesome Adam, hopefully they won't have a bunch of metal dust all over the place.
I think it cost like $80 to register...do you know where they parked? Was it downtown on the street, or in a secured area somewhere?

Oh man all over down town. The biggest group was in the Hot Rod Harley Davidson parking lot on seaway. Def alot of parking lots that are secure and not on the street. Some people were on the streets, but there was definately space in alot of the lots. Im excited i didnt get to see everything last year cuz i didnt get down there till 4 pm or so and they all started packin up by like 5 or 6. You should do it. Ill be able to have a brew with ya by then :thumb:

I need a secured parking spot for the night, I don't want my car to come up missing in the morning...you got a garage I could stay the night in?

Oh last year they just came into town in the morning, and left at around 6ish I thought. Nah I dont really have a garage man. Damm.

I went for a nice ride today....had to get the engine and rear diff warmed up good...I can't believe the break in oil is still in the engine and rear diff...finally got them changed today, and started working on sidepipe mounting...trying to come up with a better way of mounting than slipping the pipes on over the headers, and a couple studs and nuts holding them to the frame...gotta brainstorm this one a bit.

That Vette is so pristine Zim, awesome car, love it. I think adding some pipe is good because I am still surprised you ge away with that on the street right now.

I am going to Milan this weekend for some test runs if you are interested?
