69' Camaro

Back when I was just a kid in high school muscle cars where just starting to become used cars being sold off by the original owners. My high school parking lot was like a muscle car show every day. One of my friends owned one of these a 1970 SS 396 Camaro. Back in those days you could buy a used muscle car for about anywhere from $700 to $1000.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to work on the 69 Camaro. Between the K5, M1008, my daily, wifes car, along with house, keeps taking all my time!

Only thing holding me back is time and money.

I just need those two small items to finish my build as well. What a coincidence.... must just be the two of us? :dunno:

I think it would look so good without that spoiler on the back. I mean don't get me wrong, it's bad aced with it but I just visualize it without it:dunno:.

My dads 69 doesn’t have the spoiler. It looks naked

No, it's better.

But something's not right in that pic. The bumper? The white top?

Also the factory rear spoiler was specifically designed by GM for use in Trans-Am racing and does provide a significant amount of downforce over 70 MPH so it is functional.

Love it! I’ve wanted a ‘69 for so long. Definitely going to follow along.

Hi Shawn, I am very interested in the ESR wheels you have on your Camaro. I am also looking to get some for mine. What offset are you running. Are you having any issues with the 8.5 up front?
Should be

Font:
17x8.5 +30

Rear:
17x9.5 +20

ESR Bolt pattern is 5x120 which does fit close enough. Never had issues.

Never saw this before. Still have it?

Unfortunately, I sold it last year. I was at a point where I wanted to replace the engine, trans, axle, mini-tub it, go EFI, maybe 1 or 2 snails, etc. The more I thought about tearing out the matching engine and trans, axle, the less appealing it got. I decided to sell it, and instead, find one that was already well modified and just pay more for one. Still looking but I'm hoping to find one soon. These 4 K5 Blazer have me running around in circles to get them ready to sell, its not even funny.
