Yeah its crazy up this way. The wife an I are looking for land to build on down south Morgan hill/gillroy area right now much cheaper an remote too:D

I love these old Fords. I'm really sad my dad sold his '75 F250 Highboy, it was one of the best stinkin' trucks we've ever had.

Ok, school me on Fords please.

What makes a truck a "highboy"?

I have this 69 F250 that I got recently and it is a 4x4 and the front suspension appears to look the same as yours.

I would think that a "Highboy" would be pretty desirable. What is the option if there is any versus a non highboy?

nice truck man:thumb: I love that bodystyle:bow: cant wait to see it done

X2 id like to know this.

The Highboy was the 67'-77.5' "F250" its just a name that was given to those trucks. They use a divorced transfer case (dana24) that's the quickest way to tell one from an F100 aside from the 8lugs they used a closed knuckle D44 up front and a D60 out back.
I believe, don't quote me. That the F350 4x4 came around in 75' to what I understand those are not considered Highboys. Although I could be wrong, I never really looked into much info after 72' seeing how that was the next Bobby style ( dent side) mine would be considered the "bump side"
Hope this clears some of it up for you guys

Wes is a highboy expert so maybe he'll chime in with more specificity but basically they were a straight frame rail 4x4 f2f50/f350 of the 70's. Not as rare as you might think, just good solid trucks.
