6x6 Chevy 2003 Duramax

This is the one you were posting all the "how to get this part and that part" stuff on Pirate right? Is it gonna be a regular bed, or a utility?

Depdog

Looks good!

MUCH better than the Dodge. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Do you have a spec sheet going someplace?
If not, what are the wheels?

It was done on OCT 6th
It will be on the detroit auto show floor of GM
The box part is top secret
Trailready 17 in beadlocks

Put a flat bed on that and haul the trail rig in style!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Is that the one you built the 9's for? Remember seeing you post the build of those but never knew they were going in a GM.

You dont need those Being reliable is a major goal for mine. I like to hit the back wood trails that don't see much use. So The mods I'd recomened would be: 3/4 Ton axles (cheaper then 1 Ton, but 1 Ton is better) and either a 4" or 6" suspension lift, and 33" to 36" tires. Now I don't know how you feel about trimming fenders, so I'll leave that one alone. That'll get ya out in the woods.

sorry, loked too fun to not do it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

hoopty doo , did you pay for it ? /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif hope your cvs dont fall apart too quickly . completely impractical but other wise pretty cool looking .

Man i completely dissagree, that setup would be the cats a$$ for towing or a camper. I bet the turning radius is better than a dually. and the gross vehicle wight would be good and large too. All wheel discs would make her stop on a dime.

what would be cool is if some how you could have a dump valve that would allow the center axle to lift off the ground...so that when you really dont need it for haulin or towin you wouldent be wearin out the tires...since it is a air bag set up seem kinda easy to do...since alot of long haul truck drivers have the ablity of doin that when they are empty..i dont know how your axles are set up so dont know if that would even be possible to make.

OK that may be true , BUT to ME it wouldnt be of any real use other than to sell it for the $$ to build a vehicle thatll do everything i want it to . i never tow anything anyways .if i win it ill sell it to you so youll have a truck thatll do what you want and i can build mine . /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
