7/8-18 Tap

I need a tap to cut & rethread my tie rod (going from stock to histeer). Amazon seems to have a fair selection from about $20+.

Anything specific I should look for?
Preferred brands?

I have no preference for LF or RT handed since my ORD tie rod has boh types of ends.

One thing to keep in mind, we don't just tap the tubing as-is, we have to open up the ID in a lathe first.

Crap, I didn't realize that. I don't have access to a lathe so I may have to sell this and buy a replacement.

Its a serious pain and you have to be super careful but I have opened up the id with just a hand drill.
