700R slow to shift into Overdrive - is there an adjustment?

I went to adjust the TV cable and couldn't push the button in. I disconnected the cable to take a better look. (see attached)



I can't get the button to move at all with my finger. Is that normal? From the picture on the link, it looks like my button is stuck pressed in?



am I correct and just pay the $20 to replace the cable?

I use the handle of my ratchet or a screw driver to depress the button. Works every time. Never had much luck with my finger, even with new cables.
I run a 700r4 in all my rigs. Great transmission IF you set the TV cable correctly.
Ryoken is also spot on about BTO. I got my last trans from them. They KNOW there stuff.
