well, i started to taker her out today.

a lot of the bolts ie bellhousing, torque converter cover, and the croosmember bolts were really loose?

i just started learning about trucks when i ripped mine apart, so please keep the flaming to a minimal. lol

should all of the these bolts have lock tight on them? i dont want to run into this again.

do you guys check all these bolts every couple of weeks or so?

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

i have a guy that is going to rebuild the tranny with a new shift kit and some stuff to beef it up more for 400 bucks.

good price?

its my friends bud so im sure he'll be doing it on company time.

thanks again

How long hae you had the truck? It kind of sounds as if it had been out not long ago, and not torqued down. I normally check everything in a few thousand miles after a tranny or a motor swap. I have never used locktite on bellhouseing bolts.

the swap had been done for about 9 months, but i barely dirve her. i maybe put on 3-4000 miles since the swap.

im just really nervous now for when i go to put in the new one.
