'71 Blazer with inverted springs?

How can i tell if i have a "three bolt open knuckle"? the Rough Country site http://www.roughcountry.com/chevy_69-72_4.html has options for that. Also, what other things should i buy if i get a 2 inch lift with front and rear springs?

I'll just tell you. You do! lol, anyway, they are refering to the driver side knuckle. Open means you can see the universal joint(which you can) and three bolt means there is 3 bolts that bolt the steering arm onto the knuckle(which yours has).

with the 2 inch lift will my drive line be ok, or is there a transfer case crossmember support drop kit necessary to drop it to maintain the angle?

It will be fine.

My shackle flip also angled my pinion up a bit which helped the angle on that end.

Hey chalet2506, yeah it looks better and rides alot better since i got an alignment done after i swapped the tires and changed the tie rod ends.

BTW, nice job incorporating my externally hosted photos, i only just figured out how to do that last year.

Good info. Have been watching this because I'm in the middle of 2" lift and a few other things on my 72 Jimmy right now.

I'm thinking 2" and 32-33" tires is about perfect for these trucks. Looks good, is capable, and has good street manners.
