Made some more progress. I hope the front end comes down some with the drive train installed. Hopefully this weekend I can get the rear swapped and leveled with the front.
After an almost 4 year hiatus I finally un-buried this in the shop. I’m going to attempt to get this thing at least drivable enough for our towns car show in early august.
I got a lot done on this today. I shortened and installed the rear driveshaft. Clearanced the old carrier bearing crossmember, ran and bled the front brakes, ran fuel lines, ran trans lines, and hooked up the cooling system. I’m hoping to test drive this in the near future. I ran out of time for today.
It finally left the shop. Took it on a loop around town. It needs carb work, but other than that it rides and shifts well. 52” front springs are not bad at all on a pickup for body roll (compared to my suburban).
