Thank you Rick, I guess I kinda own it now, although the title is at the post office and the truck is 1400 miles away and I've never seen either one in person... But hopefully it will make it here sooner or later. The truck won't be getting cut up, should be a pretty fun build, being setup as a weekend cruiser, go get ice cream and joy ride with the dogs truck . I haven't seen it yet so I don't know what I'm going to to with it but chances are that it will end up at the body shop when I get it and it will get all the rust cut out and fresh paint, color yet undecided. I've got some different ideas so I'll try to keep an updated build thread for everybody.

Sounds like a strong plan to me. Good luck and I'll be watching for the new build thread. Shady glad someone with a strong will to Let the old girl survive should put your mind at ease. Now back To your burb build withya. Now at least you only have one project and a few bucks to put torward it.

That's the plan.... money from this is not going to the burb .... should over a short time kill a few hundred a month in payments though,,,,, and then

Oh... and I do still sorta have more than 1 project Gotta give the DD love too

Oh don't send our trucks there much, sounds nice though. I asked thinking I could help you with delivering Rick' / your truck. I can't wait to see what happens next even though I was hoping a k5 would stay in Iowa. Not many left..

there's NONE around here... I drooled over this one for ever while the PO was building it... then a few years later seen it on the lot when I was looking for my kid... 1 look at it and he was sold. Theres still a lot of first gen's around here.... but not in K5 form

Yea, One of my favorite pictures is my truck on a trailer arriving. I'm sure the picture of it leaving would be tough.
