Looking to sell a good condition windshield frame from a first gen K5. It does have some screw holes in the top of it, but is in very good shape otherwise. It does not have any rust through...
I am posting it here before ebay, hoping to sell it to a CK5 guy.
Asking $50 plus shipping. I will cut more off if buyer wants to decrease the size for shipping.
I can take more pics of any area.

More pics. The pinch weld got pulled open a little from rubbing on the cage. I don't feel that is a problem to repair. And there is a screw from a visor stuck in one side.

I am going to see what options there might be besides putting it in a box, but I don't want it getting bent in transit. I know that this in a box will be pricey.

That's okay. Not an easy part to come by, so let me know on the price when you get to it. I remember @NorCal69 shipped one in a box he made to hawaii for @Z71paramedic. What shipping service did you use @NorCal69? That was an odd dimension box.

That was back in the day when Sean had a Super Afro kickin' and worked for Fedex when he wasn't on the beach or having long distance drinking competitions with me. lol I think with his discount it was still 150ish to ship the box to Hawaii. @Z71paramedic where are ya?

I could try Fastenal. If that is an option on the receiving end.

No progress on this today as the mixer drivers decided to convene at the shop this afternoon, with problems .....

Well I found a box and got it cut down to fit. I got a quote from FedEx of $205!!!!!
Wow!!!
It only weighs 30lbs, but the dimensions hurt it.
I will see what other options there are, but I am sorta scared of sending it regular truck freight.
