Bought a beautiful '72 K5 Blazer for a steal last week and already ripping apart this beast to make her beautiful. She's gonna take a while to fix but I think that is a general concensious with everyone here. Not many people have the ability to have this be there full time job even though that would be awesome.

It's been two hours and you still only have 2 posts. Get to postin':D

Also do you guys know of good places to get new sheet metal skins for the body so I am not having to fabricate the parts to replace the cancer portions.

Ok so I am trying to post photos and its asking for the URL so I tried using my flickr account and its not working out, how do you guys post your photos.

I understand if you don't answer, but what is a steal considered for something like this? I'm trying decide on buying something similar, not sure yet.

Nice dude! Congrats on finding a steal. and welcome to ck5

I haven't ordered any panels, so I can't chime in there.

Was the PO going to run AC into the cab? I see the pulleys on the passenger side and the alternator moved to the driver side, but no visible vents in the cab.

2.5K is considered a steal for me at least with the prices that I have seen everything else that has been out there on the market and running. The PO did have an AC installed but with the lack of a hard top and no desire to ever have one again it was useless to keep in installed. That is on the long list of things to do of transferring the alternator back to the original side.

Thanks gonna need a little luck and a whole lot of blood sweat and tears...oh yeah might need a couple bucks to. As for the color yeah gonna stick with it, its so obnoxious its awesome. Esp since I already bleed black and orange.
