That's called a FUSH? That's funny, I was just sitting in the driveway thinking about this very same thing.
...FUSH huh?

I was about to ask what the hell is a FUSH???
Total blonde moment.

Not really, it's an acronim that I didn't know, it doesn't mean I am dumb as a blond.
Now I know it.
It's like when I first saw the OBS and NBS old body style and new body style, it's new to me not I am dumb:thumb:
Actually this was the first time I heard of FUSH:dunno:

Pfft... You guys just dont window shop ORD, like we do...

Nope.
I never shop anywhere because I never intend to buy, and since I have enough ideas of my own, I don't like to be called a COPIER.
I am an engineer so I can easily design what I need based on my use.

I'm just irked that ORD waited to make 'em until AFTER I fabbed my own too :haha:

(I even tapped the holes in the plate, though I didn't round the corners, so yours are prettier :D )

I'm assuming your motivation was the same as mine, i.e. larger bolt and larger bushing?

Yeah. i noticed my stock bushing was no longer there. seemed like a waste to replace the bushings so i figured it only makes sense. Now i have nice 9/16 bolts and 1/2 at the frame. Something i will never have to worry about again.

...or, you could be a genius, too....

j/k :thumb:

You might be kidding, I'm not
But it's true, I designed the first 203 doubler in 1986 back home, I come to the US in 2001 and find out someone did the same thing. I also did a few tricks that I found later mass produced.
I just was never good at marketing, and never really wanted it either, I like being able to design what I need, and am content with it, and it doesn't cost me much which is why I started doing this during the war when we had no jobs and we had to do with what we had.:dunno:

Got other side done. Made a paper template this time and only took like 30 min lol. need to make shackles tomorrow and then suspension is done. Gonna swing by junkyard and find a tranny or oil cooler for power steering, and try to find a reservoir.

Got it done.

I cut the ps neck in the middle and used a piece of 2in pipe welded onto it and welded the top onto the pipe for my reservoir. It made it come up to were the upper rad hose is and makes filling a snap!

Got that little cooler from oriellys that pblaze said.

Forgot to do teflon tape on the fittings.... great.... so now im gonna try and drain 2qts of fluid and tape the fittings up and bleed it all again.

The lines BARELY seep but thats with the tires off the ground, im sure if they were down it would be pissing all over.

But i got the lines hooked up right first try! And boy howdy i can tell the difference even with it just sitting there on jackstands.
