I know these things are harder than hell to find but i got lucky. I was crusing pick and pull and came across a cherry 75 blazer complete so to took the doors and tailgate. Mine are cheat after market simi modified thin steel chiness junk(bought the project that way). Well i am wondering if anyone has refurbished any of these doors before as i want to strip them and repaint. I am just not sure how the come apart completly. Are there any sites with a break down of how to dis assembly them?

73-75 doors can be made by cutting the same body style pickup or non full convertible k5 doors. I think gm even provided directions at some point:dunno:. That said I can't help you with disassemble, last time I tried to take apart a door I ended up getting stitches in my pinky trying to rip the window handle off. The sawzall came out soon after...

do you have any questions in particular? They're not too difficult to dissasemble after you pop off the interior panel. All the window bracketry unbolts from the inside under that panel.

The problem, I discovered, with retrofitting some non-full convertible doors is that you'd have to weld in some sort of bracket to which you bolt the caps onto, and that can be a hassle. You also have to add some kind of support to the interior window channel so that the window guide works properly.
