Hello all,

Well..due to some more hack job repairs by the previous owner, I am looking for a set of 73-75 Blazer doors.

I don't care if the bottoms are rotten out, etc. All I really need from them is the reinforcement brackets and for the front window frame to be in good shape so I can use it as a template to make a good set of doors.

Of course if anyone had a perfect set laying around, that might be ok too, but I'm not holding my breath!

Thanks in advance!

captain, you got first dibs here, but i am also looking for some doors and if you you do not want to ship, I may be interested... or,if you do purchase them, I would be happy to compensate you for making up a few extra sets of guts and sending them to me. Let me know, thanks. -LB

Hey LB,

Sorry about taking this long to respond, but if there is anything I can do once I have a new set, I'll do it.

I am still trying to find someone who is willing to box em up and ship em over.

On a lighter note, if I get a new set of doors - I did pick apart both of mine now. My driver's side door actually does have the correct reinforcements, so I could always send that your way. The opposite side would just be a mirror image of the same stuff.

I still have to see what I can get my hands on, but I'll hook a brother up if I can.

No worries, I'm the same way about responding. I've located another set of doors as well, but am having the same issues that you are. So, if I beat you to the chase, I will likewise hook you up if I can.

I am also looking for the reinforcing/trim plates for 73-75 doors. I am converting a later model blazer and trying to locate the rest of the parts. I already have a nice windshield frame.

I know a guy parting out a '73 K5 that was a wheeler... The pass side door is original but I'd have to check to see if the brackets are all still in good shape. The drivers door was a regular pickup door that he hacked up and didn't bother putting the caps or brackets back on though. I'll have to ask if he kept the original door or not.
