73-87 Cab Corner Replacement Panels

It may have been discussed here before. I just finished repairing the RH cab corner on my 1985. Most if not all are designed as slip on (over OEM). If you actually splice in to butt weld to original, you need to cut the replacement panel into two pieces. The corner radius is too large and the overall panel dimension is too long. I wind up cutting straight up the corner. I additionally take a pie slice off the lower pinch weld lip to the inner cab corner. Otherwise, there is a gap of about 1/4" from the outer cab corner to the vertical pinch weld of the inner cab corner at the lowest point. Will add images when I can.

I did the back radius/flare line easyer .

cut it flush and take duckbill vise grips and rebend it . come out perfectly .

also had to trim the radius to clear the rocker a bit also .
