73 to 74 fleet side wood floor bed

I've seen a few in pictures, but don't remember ever seeing one in person. I think the wood floors were originally painted body color.

They seem to be as uncommon as the bedsides with the toolboxes in them.

The only truck this bodystyle Ive ever seen, was the blue truck that was already pictured.

Never seen another one than that.

This '78 C30 Camper Special I had in the '80s came with a factory wood floor. It was listed on the SPID. I have seen maybe 1/2 dozen in my life. They were in fact a factory option that many have just never seen.

Yep,still have them. I almost set that on a '77 K/30 frame but decided the donor was all too scaly rusty (used to plow snow),which was how I got it so cheap. That '78 was a nice truck...454/4spd,posi,a/c. I never liked running boards but swapped them to diamond plate ones to match the tops of the tool boxes. I did new construction and went through mud all the time. They kept it clean longer. I guess they lent to the big work truck vibe. I kept that thing shiney. A guy bought it to haul his race car. I sold it to build a '70 C/30 I put a new Reading low profile utility bed on.
