I have a chance to buy a 74 k-5 for 300 dollars. The 350 runs fine it has factory roll bar, heavy duty springs brakes, skid plates and gas tank sheild, 203 transfer case, but the tranny only works in reverse. The body is rusted as normal. It would need new fenders, wheel wells, front and rear floors and bedsides. Is 300 a good price or is it way to high for a truck in this shape?

I wouldn;t buy it fro resto, but to start a wheeler, yeah

Im assuming the tranny is a TH350, these are a dime a dozen and pretty cheap too. Sounds like a good truck to beat up for awhile.

Normally the motor alone would cost you close to that price. Even if it has some problems the price is rock bottom.

i do have a set a of gm orignal bedsides do you think these would be worth putting on the blazer
