Hey Ya'll,

I have been struggling with the idea of selling my K5 for several months. I love my Blazer and it has lots of money, blood sweat and tears poured into it, but it does not have a place to live and the cops keep putting yellow marks on my tires to make sure it is not abandoned. I have to keep moving it to keep them from towing it. I don't really want to sell it but I don't have room for it in my life, and it needs some TLC from someone who wants to take it out to play. It is in the unfinished project stage, but doesn't need much.

The Body has little to no rust a great thing about Arizona. The fenders have been agressivly trimmed for max ground clearance. No Tailgate.

This Blazer is really fun to drive around town and the looks you get driving it are a lot of fun, but it's better suited for the trail. There is no heater or ac components I have the doors but they are not on it. It needs some work like I said unfinished project.

I have around $ 6000.00 invested into it and it is almost ready to go rock crawling. As you can imagine I would love to get $6000.00 for it, but that is not going to happen. I am not really wanting to sell it, but unless I were to win the lottery it's not going to be something I can afford anytime soon. I am going to start by asking $2900.00 because that seems fair for what I have into it but you might be surpprised how little I will take. I will listen to any offer, and I just might let you have it for a ridiculously low price. This is a classic vehicle and the topless ones are not as common as the later ones so I think someone might want it. I know I want it but I just can't afford it. Who was it here that asked me to let them know if I wanted to sell it?

got any other pics?
what gears are in the axle?
front still open?

It has the stock 3.73 gears.

No access to a computer right now to upload pictures to the net. Only have access at work and I can't load pics to it.

I'm not in a hurry to sell, don't really want to sell, but I need to sell because I just don't have room for it. The instructinons said to specify a price so I did. If you are interested and think I am asking too much make me an offer and I will consider it. If I had a place to store it I'd rather keep it and let it sit until I could find time for it, but who wants another rock crawler in their yard?

I know that some here might be interested. Whoever buys it will get a lot more than I did when I started for less money than I spent.

Like I said I'd rather win the lottery and spend more money on it, but what are the odds of that?

It's a good time of year to go wheeling, but probably not a good time of year to sell a K5.

The front diff is not locked.

The starting price is VERY NEGOTIABLE.

Bump for price reduction you can ignore the $2900.00 starting price, what do you want to spend? My life is too busy to deal with the thing. I prefer to sell it to wheeler friend or friend of a friend which means any CK5er qualifies. I don't want to deal with ebay or cracklist. someone wants this smoking deal you just don't know it yet. When the person who scoops it up tells you how little they paid you will all be posting about what a deal he got and wishing they had scooped it up instead. Or I could sell it to a junk yard and you guys can pay jacked up junk yard prices for the goodies on this thing.

Wish you were in NC! :( I can't begin to imagine the shipping costs! :eek1: Probably for the best though, I gotta finish my current project before I think about another. Anyways, sweet ride (great price potentially!), I'm surprised to see nobody has bought it yet! Good luck with the selling!

It surprises me that no one seems interested. When I built this thing I built it to be a keeper. I never intended to sell it, but things don't always work out the way you expect.

Seriously people this project has a serious head start on a lot of other trucks you might be interested in. It was extremely hard for me to decide to sell it because I really love this thing, but I am getting Married, and I just don't have the budget to have a toy like this. Because I originally never planned to sell it I bought the best possible things I could to upgrade it instead of going the el cheapo way and my loss is your gain. Now that I have finally gotten over my reluctance to sell it I have become very motivated to be rid of it. This means that someone who starts waving some cash around is likely to get a smoking deal.

It has current registration and I have the title in my name. When I was driving this thing I was very nice to it. I planned to keep it and was afraid to break it so I was always gentle. I never broke an axle, and it was rare that it needed help to finish a wheeling adventure. Once I broke one of the u joints, and repaired it on the trail.

For me it's not about the money and I have not even bothered to put it up for sale on cracklist or fleecebay because I prefer to see it go to a fellow CK5er. Maybe someday that person who buys it will post pics here and I'll get to see them here and follow it as they continue building it up. Who knows maybe they might even invite me along for a ride...

I paid a grand for it with an oil burning ugly engine in it before spending $5000.00 building it up. I could get that much from a junk yard. The tires with wheels would probably bring at least $400.00 here.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I could easily get three times that offer just selling the parts. If you were standing in front of me with $1500.00 I might be getting weak, but for $500.00 is not an offer that interests me.

I have been busy, pics of the beautiful engine will be posted soon. Then maybe people will sit up and take notice. I am planning on putting an ad in the Auto Trader.
