Greenblazer-AZ
1/2 ton status
Hey Ya'll,
I have been struggling with the idea of selling my K5 for several months. I love my Blazer and it has lots of money, blood sweat and tears poured into it, but it does not have a place to live and the cops keep putting yellow marks on my tires to make sure it is not abandoned. I have to keep moving it to keep them from towing it. I don't really want to sell it but I don't have room for it in my life, and it needs some TLC from someone who wants to take it out to play. It is in the unfinished project stage, but doesn't need much.
Here are the details:
1974 Chevrolet K5 Blazer.
Full removable top '75 was the last year for this feature.(Top included not shown)
Roll cage.
Auto Meter Guages: Speedo, Water Temp, Oil Pressure, Gas.
Have tilt collumn with removable lockable Grant steering wheel kit(not installed) non tilt collumn is still in it with stock wheel.
B&M Floor Shifter
Aluminium Wheels with 35 inch BFG Mud Terrains better than half tread.
Front Axle Dana 44 With a custom DOM tube tie rod. No locker.
Rear Axel 12 Bolt GM With Lock Rite by Powertrax.
NP205 Transfer Case(the stock NP203 was replaced with the NP205) (inspected and serviced new gasket kit installed) Brand new mount(these things break sometimes)
One inch body lift with new Energy Suspensions urethane bushings.
Four Inch Spring Lift Front With New Rancho 9012 12 Inch Travel shocks and F150 Shock Tower Mod(installed).
Rear Shackle Drop Through Mod.
Have two new 9012 12" Ranchos for rear, but not installed(need to be mounted requiring fabrication they will not fit in the current stock location).
TH350 Built by KB Transmissions In Mesa, AZ
Engine is a 1997 5.7L Vortech rebuilt long block with around 9000 miles(installed New Auto Meter Speedo/ODO at same time as engine).
It has Edelbrock intake with Jet Performance Stage One Quadrajet.
Doug Thorley Headers Chrome With Aluminum Gaskets, and Those locking header bolts you have probably seen advertised but I forget the brand.
2.5 inch exaust with Flowmaster Mufflers. They sound great.
Moroso Polished Aluminum Valve Covers.
Aluminum Wire Looms with Green Taylor Spark Plug Wires.
Holley Electric Fuel Pump With regulator and Guage.
Edelbrock Aluminum Water Pump with a brand new spare just like it.
The Oil Pan is also aftermarket with the gold colored anodizing I don't remember wich brand.
The engine has a chrome bolt kit with Bowties on each bolt.
Street Damper harmonic ballancer with ARP Bolt.
Billet power steering bracket.
Custom Heavy Duty Steel Battery mount on frame
The Body has little to no rust a great thing about Arizona. The fenders have been agressivly trimmed for max ground clearance. No Tailgate.
This Blazer is really fun to drive around town and the looks you get driving it are a lot of fun, but it's better suited for the trail. There is no heater or ac components I have the doors but they are not on it. It needs some work like I said unfinished project.
I have around $ 6000.00 invested into it and it is almost ready to go rock crawling. As you can imagine I would love to get $6000.00 for it, but that is not going to happen. I am not really wanting to sell it, but unless I were to win the lottery it's not going to be something I can afford anytime soon. I am going to start by asking $2900.00 because that seems fair for what I have into it but you might be surpprised how little I will take. I will listen to any offer, and I just might let you have it for a ridiculously low price. This is a classic vehicle and the topless ones are not as common as the later ones so I think someone might want it. I know I want it but I just can't afford it. Who was it here that asked me to let them know if I wanted to sell it?
Later,
Allan Greenblazer

I can't begin to imagine the shipping costs!
Probably for the best though, I gotta finish my current project before I think about another. Anyways, sweet ride (great price potentially!), I'm surprised to see nobody has bought it yet! Good luck with the selling!
