Well koh was a blast! I picked up a ruff stuff pinion guard before we went. But with no anti-wrap bar the guard rotated up into the drive shaft. So I removed that while we were watching the emc on Thursday while I was under the truck I noticed I broke a leaf in my spring pack. And I only carry a spare main leaf so we wheeled with a broken leaf the weekend. Then Sunday morning the clamp on the positive battery cable broke so I pulled the battery cable off the trailer winch to run the truck. We wheeled all day Saturday and sunday.

Here we are all loaded up

The fire pit in hammertown on sunday was completely empty!

This is the hole at the bottom of backdoor

Nicks truck at the top of the waterfall that they went down for qualifying

This was either on Lower big johnson or claw hammer

Made it up chocolate thunder no problem! But is wasn't in racer fashion

looking back down chocolate thunder

On a random trail looking down toward where hammertown used to be

On part of the ace course going backwards towards hammertown

Then we found a random big rock that fit just right under the blazer in the desert area

When we first got unloaded

Saturday we ran all around and checked out outter limits, didn't run it. But we did the fissure Mtn loop that came back down around.

Coming down sandy off camber hill

Fissure mtn was a pretty easy trail that was windy/off camber/ rockish
going up!

Sweet stuff man!

It was a blast! So today it was storming a little so I went up to the snow. It wasn't very good a lot had melted so it was really rutted underneath the fresh 6ish inches that had fallen.
I got a little stuck and was alone but the winch came to the rescue and pulled me right out of the little stuck.

Time for a brew and lunch

Lady the corgi has become my trusty co driver

We got to make fresh tracks all day that was still sweet!

Aired down to about 4psi

Do you have cell service up there?

No I don't have cell signal in the area. There is one spot in the area that you can get cell signal. I know it's dangerous to go out alone so I always make sure to leave a detailed list of where I go and when to expect me back and when to come look for me if I'm not home in a reasonable time. I also carry snow shoes and can walk out if it was really necessary. I also use the term stuck lightly

Being prepared for the worst, is always the best. Sounds like you have the preparedness covered.

I'm still quite jelly about those snowy adventures. Cool dog too.

I've got a friend that has been pretty influential with being prepared for most anything that can happen. He has a full 2 page with two columns of everything he brings in his rig. And has forms for when he goes wheelin/mountain biking or moto riding alone that he has given me copies of.

The snow is so much fun! I wish I had more people to wheel with on wed and thurs

Who, Nick? He's the prepared type for sure, in fact I don't think he take a piss without a multi-tool in his pocket :rotfl:

Haha so true! Ya nick has been way helpful. We borrowed his truck and cramper to make it to koh:truck:

Nice! I was wondering if it was remote enough that cell dies out. Hoping to get up there a few times this year.

Went on a Wheelers for the wounded run a few weekends ago. It was a blast, I ended up being the last person to the eventop and the last person off the trap in the evening. It was great going out with a huge group and seeing everyone's rigs. The Jimmy worked great, a jeep guy used me as an anchor point to pull a stuck Toyota out. Then this 4runner fell into a hole on the way out and that plugged up the trail for a little while when everyone was heading back.
