plexi is cheap too, I'm pretty sure you can buy it at lowes. Cut a couple patterns, transfer them over to the plexi and you can cut it with a jig saw.

Already looks much more pleasant to be in for snow! It's still summer time and all I can think about is snow wheelin:cry:

Make a cut out piece with card board and take it to homedepot or lowes and they can cut it out for you. Thats what im doing for my front windshield

I made my windshield for my side by side out of some stuff called polycarbonate AR. It's like 1/4" thick and I got it from a plastics place in Grand Junction, CO a few years ago. The guy explained to me how "plexi-glass" is brittle and cracks easy and also scratches easy. This stuff I got is softer and easy to drill and cut but the "AR" means abrasion resistant so it doesn't scratch. Also has a UV resistant feature to keep it from discoloring from the sun. It still looks as good as it did when I first did it a few years ago and it's out in the sun 100% of the time. I just make sure to use plastic safe glass cleaner on it. You can also go to any glass place that does automotive glass and they can cut you flat pieces of safety glass.

I made a back window from 1/4” lexan with frame and hinged it for the 72

Received an endless amount of grief from the first gen onion lickers. Worked decent though

Fiberglassed it together yesterday afternoon. Seems to be way strong. I drilled 8 holes total I the top and bolted them together with an old section of the top. They have 2" washers holding each bolt in. I'm going to put one more overlap layer on it today then flip it and do the inside maybe tomorrow

Did you just resin it together?

Resin and sea-glass a fiberglass cloth. It seems to be way sturdy so far. I did a layer in the inside of the top last night.

Anyone have color suggestions? I was thinking a textured spray can gray

stupid question but why not run the full top during the winter?
doesn't look like anything is in the way

Idk, just to do something different. I don't have a blazer gate either and exhaust fumes would get sucked in with the top on.
