I wanted to buy my friend's 1977 Chevy K5 Blazer 4x4, but he's not sure he's going to sell it or not.

His brother had this 1975 Chevy Scottsdale SWB lifted 4x4 with a brand new set of $1400 35"×12.50R15 tires on it, for $3500.

I bought it. It runs and drives great. It just needs some new carpet, seat redone, and repainted. It has the factory Chevy Orange and White two tone paint, with some body work already being done.

The truck is still over at my friend's place at the moment.

It has a decent stereo system with speakers and an amp, a CB, and a sunroof which doesn't leak...lol

I plan on installing new carpet, get the bench seat redone, and fix anything else that needs fixed.

I'm trying to decide if I want to stay with the factory Orange and White paint or do a custom color on the truck.

I've always liked the 98-99 Dodge deep Amethyst pearl paint and I think it would look great on a square body Chevy.

Nice truck. Double make sure that not a rust bucket. I was lucky when I bought my K5 back 10 years ago in CA.

A couple months ago, my longtime friend asked me to trade this pickup to him for his 79 Camaro Z28 factory T-top car.

I've helped him a lot on the Camaro for the last 8 years that he owned it. He put in a 470 hp J & S Engines built 383 stroker, Holley racing series choke less carb, Edelbrock RPM air gap intake, headers, MSD ignition, turbo 400 with a B&M Holeshot 2500 rpm stall converter, shift kit, and B&M ratchet shifter, Calvert mono leaf rear leaf springs, new Yukon posi and 3.73 gears in the rearend.

I traded him the 75 Chevy, and the Camaro does run great. It had an 80 hood, front fender vents, and front grille on it, but I replaced them and installed all 79 Z28 parts. But working under the dash is a very literal pain in my back, ribs, and knees. So, I'm trading the Camaro to my friend Pat for his 80 Chevy SWB 4x4 pickup with 3/4 or 1-ton axles, lift kit, 35" tires on nice aluminum wheels, turbo 400 trans, NP208 transfer case, and a 5.3 LS engine which is getting the install of it completed here soon.

I've never seen a Z28 painted up like a '78 Corvette pace car before. That's very cool.

Yeah, it's not the stock factory paint job on it. The fisher body trim tag says it was all black from the factory.

It could have, but black paint with red interior came with the two-tone gold stripes and decal kit as well.
