Got some time in this weekend.

Here's the new battery tray and battery, also the new antifreeze tank.
Then did some polishing on the bumpers and got 2 of the ss brake lines in.

Thanks. A lot of work but it will be worth it. These old original chrome bumpers can hold up in time.

I decided to swap out the flimsy old chrome valve covers for these. I really don't want to deal with leaky covers again.

Didn't think I had the room for the starter so I picked up a mini and it took alittle bit of work but I got it in.

Now next weekend I should have 3 days off..we'll see.I really wished I would of changed these brake lines out when the engine was out...its a learning process.

Back from hibernation. I'm telling ya I'm not into working on these things when its cold out. So...There has been a few and just a few good days and with some other changes going on in my life I am putting more time info this. Now here's what I got done just recently.!
Brake job.

More work on Bumpers.

I would have went with the argent silver on the wheels, but I like it other than that.

Really! Some reason I don't like metal paint colors , but might look into it.

Looks good man. X2 on the argent silver. When I was still on half tons I got a set of rally's and almost painted them black until my dad talked me into silver and I was glad I did. Take a look at my build thread for pics of the color. Doesn't have that cheesy "chrome spray paint" look.

Thanks ! I was missing a center cap and got hold of the fellow I got the bumpers from and he had one, well he had a set. I got one and he also let me take a interior bed side panel to trace. He said he has the brackets to mount them. I guessing a few more free weekends and this things will be rolling. O and sorry I decided to keep the rims black. I'm sure they will change colors next time I dig in to them again.

Awwww. Ever thing is running nice. But still have a small oil leak some where up around the harmonic balancer and another on top rear left valve cover I think. My rear window regulator went out today. So got some 2x4 wedge in till I find a new one. Other than that I'm a gitty school girl driving it now!
