Lil. I was actually hoping for hollister so I could just drive down without needing a trailer.
Actually Electric technology has been a viable option several times and was shut down by partys with conflicting interest to the electric cars goal but thats more of a lounge topic. They've been saying the same thing about electric cars since 1976. gotblazers doesn't have 40 years haha.![]()
I thought so to until i read the details on norcalbigdawgs site for this yearI thought blazerfest was in hollister...You should be 3 minutes away...

. I wont have a vehicle with adequate protection for the real fun stuff up their and 3 hours of driving in a big block burb plus renting a trailer for the weekend is more money than its worth to me when i can spend all weekend at hollister for the price of gas and admission and with my house less than 10 miles from the entrance its pretty dang cheap lol.
.Just picked up a trailer for the k5's. Its a bit small at 15 ft but i did the math and it works out. Its a deck over and 79'' wide so it fit my purposes and best of all my wallet. Has brakes on all 4 wheels.Yes, but most of the "Offroad" areas require driving on the road both before and after to fill up the tanks. every gas station has gas, but not all have propane and those that do don't always refill large propane tanks. Propane is interesting, but not "simpler" than TBI.
Things have been a bit slow with me focused on getting a trailer so i dont need to rent one for the move so progress should pick back up soon.Just picked up a trailer for the k5's. Im going to look for a truck that i can part out with a motor i can use for this while the 400SB finds its new home in my new garage on a engine stand as money comes up for it. In other news the 350SB for the 73 is pretty much ready to come off the engine stand. Motor is complete from oil pan to intake.Propane is way easier than tbi, carb, efi or what ever... Stupid simple, plug and play... I run all day on an 8 gal forklift tank... I have mounts for two and working on a propane fill station on the bus...
All you need is an Impco 425, Model E and vff30... Get some hoses and it will run no matter what...
We want pics Greg...
I pulled mine years ago with a 16 footer and didn't like it at all... Never felt comfortable... You could add a beaver tail and move the axles back though...

Looks like all your dreams are coming true. Keep it up dude.![]()

.
I suggest you pull it out to weld the gears. I dont feel like you can get enough material welded through the windows. and it really isnt hard to pull the carrier out and take it apart on a 14 bolt. Just pay attention to the adjusters and put it back exactly as you took it out and you dont have to reset the gears.

Ps.... You're gonna EAT tires.
Welded rears put ridiculous pressure on tires, around corners and such.
I don't know if you plan to DD this truck, or what, I'm just puttin' it out there.
Chris (NorCal Chris) has his 14b welded, and he puts up w/ it.
But, I, on the other hand, have a Detroit Locker,
and hate to chirp the tires around corners.
How on earth do i get these fockin ring gear bolts out. The stupid motherfocking carrier just spins on me no matter how i try to clamp/wedge it and according to specs these bolts are at 120 ft/lbs. No i dont have air tools available atm btw.
