Is that why this thread died off? He really should update that title. Something like "10 weeks looking for bolts" would be more descriptive.
Been thinking about how I'm going to set up the fuel pump/sending unit and I remember coming across these pics when I was building my dodge. Rather than cutting a huge hole I think I'll just cut the shape in the bottom of the tank slide the baffle up through the cut and burn it in on the bottom edge of the baffle. Followin me?
That's asking for leaks.. I'd cut the top and keep the bottom solid..
and fuel will never find its way around that maze.. It'll get lost.
I was thinking the same thing but I'm not scared of my weldering skeels. It will be like a T so there should be enough material to be able to let it burn in a little hotter before I let off my tacky tacky button.
Guess what I'm doing on my lunch break tomorrow... Cleaned up my wheels after work tonight. I need to decide what I want to do with them. I really want to paint the outer part black and leave the center or maybe vice versa? Whatever I do I need to do some polishing on them. They look like crap.
