77 C20 hauler to crawler

This is good to know. I have been debating a 31 gallon swap.

It all depends what trails you're running and how long of a stretch you need to go between fill ups. For me, the 25 isn't enough to get over the rubicon with big block which is annoying.

Yeah, I'm getting about 13.5 mpg right now, which isn't bad.

Did you ever check your mileage before the FI package came?

Are we ever going to see your truck again?

Nope, never cared much to be honest. I just know a tank didn't last long enough. Hoping the 31 with another spare 5 gallon can will be sufficient. But for anyone doing the k5 tank swap it would be wise to start with the 31.

Not bad, but you always want more fuel tank (until it starts cutting into space you'd be using for other stuff, then it's a different story).

In your case, you're about to take a mileage drop when you regear, you may want the extra fuel just to maintain your existing range numbers.

The 31 tank is a nice add. Only slightly invasive in size but still bolt in on a Blazer

As for mileage, going away from a 3.42 gear can actually help some times because it's keeping the RPM too low with the tire size /weight. I'm sure Phil will be checking though

I certainly will.
