So for whatever reason I was thinking a 14 bolt had one carrier for all gear ratios. I think I was mixing the 14 up with a Ford 9”.
So here I sit with a $350.00 lock right installed in my 4.11 carrier and thin 4.56 gear set that isn’t going to work. By the time I’m done buying a thick gear set I’ll be into it for about the same price as a Detroit would have been. So much for having it done by the end of next weekend! Looks like maybe this time next year...
